Prof. Dr. Özgür Kılıçkesmez graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency in Radiology at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital in 2001. In 2011, he became an associate professor at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology. Between 2012-2020, he served as the head of the Interventional Radiology Department at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital. In 2020, he became the founder of the Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology Department at SBÜ Istanbul Çam and Sakura City Hospital and was appointed as a professor the same year. As of 2024, he works as Head of Radiology at Medicana Ataköy Hospital. His main specialties include minimally invasive angiographic treatments, interventional oncology, and neuroradiology.

Dr. Uğur Özkan was born in 1975 in Adana. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Adana, he enrolled in Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and graduated in 1998. He completed his residency in Radiology at the same university in 2003.

In 2004, he began working as a specialist in the Interventional Radiology Department of Başkent University Adana Hospital, where he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2010. Between 2012 and 2022, he served at Private Adana Ortadoğu Hospital. In 2022, he was appointed as a Professor in the Department of Radiology at Adana City Hospital, where he worked for two years.

As of January 2025, Dr. Özkan has been providing patient care at Private Medline Adana Hospital. His professional interests include venous diseases, particularly varicose veins, as well as arterial diseases (such as peripheral arterial disease), organ biopsies, biliary tract disorders, and current interventional oncological treatments.

He is married with two children. His personal interests include playing basketball, reading, and planning domestic and international travels with his family.

Prof. Dr. Zekai Pekkafalı was born in Konya in 1965 and graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. He completed his radiology residency at GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital between 1992-1995. From 1999-2005, he worked as an assistant professor and deputy chief of the Radiology Clinic at GATA Istanbul. He became an associate professor in 2008 and a professor in 2017. His areas of focus include ultrasonography, Doppler US, MRI, and non-vascular interventional radiology. He has published over 150 scientific papers and abstracts in national and international journals. He currently provides diagnostic radiology and interventional treatment services in his private clinic in Ataşehir, Istanbul.

Prof. Dr. Kazım Özenç Minareci graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1982. He completed his radiology residency at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. In 1989, he became part of Turkey’s first Neuroradiology Department, and later trained in interventional neuroradiology at the University of Zurich (Prof. Anton Valavanis) and New York Beth Israel Hospital (Prof. Alejandro Berenstein). He became an associate professor in 1991 and a professor in 1997, serving for many years as Head of Neuroradiology at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. His clinical practice focused on endovascular (non-surgical) treatment of brain and neck vascular diseases, including aneurysms, AVMs, fistulas, and stroke. With numerous scientific publications and book chapters, Prof. Minareci retired from Istanbul University and currently practices privately in Istanbul and works as a consultant at Liv Hospital.

Prof. Dr. Ercan Kocakoç was born in Ordu in 1969 and completed his radiology residency in 1997. He became an associate professor in 2003 and a professor in 2009. His special areas of interest are abdominal radiology, interventional radiology, and urogenital radiology. He has worked as a professor at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine (2009-2010) and as Head of Radiology at Bezmialem Foundation University (2010-2015). Between 2015-2016, he served as Head of Radiology at Yeditepe University and from 2017-2020 worked as an interventional radiologist at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital. After a short return to Bezmialem University, he has continued his work as an interventional radiologist at Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital since late 2020.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mahir Atasoy completed his residency in Radiology at Maltepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. After his military service, he worked for 2 years at Siyami Ersek Hospital as a radiology specialist, gaining experience in interventional radiology and angiographic procedures. Since 2011, he has been a faculty member at Maltepe University in Breast Radiology and Interventional Radiology, becoming an associate professor in 2016 and a professor in 2021. He focuses on non-surgical interventional treatments such as minimally invasive therapies for varicose veins, thyroid nodules, and fibroids. He also accepts patients in his private clinic in Nişantaşı, focusing on interventional oncology and endovascular treatments.

Prof. Dr. Levent Oğuzkurt entered Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and graduated in 1990. In 1996, he became a radiology specialist at Hacettepe University. During his residency, he developed a special interest in interventional radiology and started working as an interventional radiologist at Başkent University Adana Hospital in 1999. Between 1999-2000, he received official subspecialty training in interventional radiology at the University of Minnesota, USA. He became an associate professor in 2005 and a professor in 2011. After leaving Başkent University in 2014, he worked at Istanbul Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital, and since 2015, he has been serving in the Interventional Radiology Department at Koç University Hospital. His main focus is the interventional treatment of all vascular diseases, including arterial blockages, varicose veins, and diabetic foot conditions.
