1. Prof. Dr. Alper Fındıkçıoğlu (Adana)
Prof. Dr. Alper Fındıkçıoğlu continues his professional work in the field of Thoracic Surgery at Acıbadem Adana Hospital. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and his thoracic surgery residency in 2003 at Istanbul Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital.
His specialization thesis focused on determining postoperative morbidity using oxygen consumption testing in patients with limited respiratory reserve undergoing lung cancer resection. After serving at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Thoracic Surgery, he joined the Acıbadem Healthcare Group.
His clinical practice focuses on thoracic oncology, particularly the surgical treatment of lung cancer. His surgical interests also include chest wall tumors, mediastinal diseases, and minimally invasive surgical treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
